The Smithfield Horse Fair, Dublin will take place on Sunday 3rd March 2013 from 9.00hrs to 13.30hrs. As part of the Fair, Dublin City Councils Arts Office will provide a short programme of cultural activity to celebrate the fair.

Traditional Irish Music

10.00 – 12.30 Traditional Irish Musicians will play a series of acoustic sessions featuring well know Irish tunes, including fiddle, bodhran, tin whistle, banjo and uillean pipes.

The Smithfield Horse Fair, Dublin will take place on Sunday 3rd March 2013 from 9.00hrs to 13.30hrs. This will be the first Horse Fair held under new bye-laws passed by Dublin City Council in January 2013. Horse owners can now apply to Dublin City Council for a Casual Trading Licence to bring a horse to the Smithfield Horse Fair. Licences cost 10 euro per horse. A Casual Trading Licence is required for each horse attending the fair. To apply click here.
